About Loire

The region has the longest wine road in France, about 800 km, because its river, the Loire, is also the longest in the country.

From the centre of France to the Atlantic ocean, the easygoing course of the Loire edges very different vineyards. Their feature: they can produce all types of wines, the driest white wine in the most sweet, some red wine of long age to the most simple and fruity.

The region counts 40 AOC.
